Session 1: Azure Arc Beyond the Defaults: What Lies in the Shadows?
Azure Arc is often deployed with default settings that work well for getting started, but defaults are not the same as secure.
In this demo-packed session, we’ll venture beyond the out-of-the-box configuration and shine a light on the lesser-known settings that shape the security, governance, and management of your Arc-enabled server infrastructure. From under-the-hood agent communication and authentication mechanisms to automated extension deployment and OS-level operational controls, we’ll uncover the configurations that too often remain hidden in the shadows.
You’ll leave with a clear understanding of Azure Arc’s inner workings, the real risks of leaving defaults untouched, and actionable guidance to unlock deep visibility, shut down lateral movement paths, and harden your distributed server estate against modern threats.
