The systems administrator role is perhaps one of the oldest in computer technology. However in this modern cloud computing world some of them will evolve into Cloud Administrators. As for those admins? It could be a case of how more things change, the more they stay the same. In their new role as an Azure Administrator they will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining Azure resources and use a complete new skill set. In this session you will learn 7 habits every new Azure admin must have. You will not only learn about Azure Cost Management, and Azure Governance, but also which tools you can use to connect securely to your Azure resources.

Wim MatthyssenSpeaker: Wim Matthyssen has more than ten-years of experience with Microsoft Infrastructure Technologies and currently with a main focus on the Microsoft Hybrid Cloud and especially on Microsoft Azure and the Azure hybrid services. His strength is to assist companies in the transformation of their business to the Cloud by implementing the latest features, services and solutions. As an MCT, he also helps customers to realize their full Cloud potential by making their people and teams more productive using Azure. Besides that, Wim is also a founding board member of the MC2MC - Microsoft Cloud and Client Management Community. As a passionate community member, he regularly writes blogs and speaks about his daily experiences with Azure and other Microsoft technologies.

Karel De WinterSpeaker: Karel De Winter is a certified Microsoft Azure consultant and Microsoft Certified Trainer, who helps customers to successfully migrate and adopt the Microsoft Azure platform within their organization. He works for Savaco and helps develop new managed cloud services that can be made available to customers, and focuses on providing architecture and technical solutions for Azure projects. His core areas of expertise are Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft Hybrid Cloud Platform. As an technology enthusiast and a community member, he frequently shares his knowledge about experiences with Azure and other Microsoft technologies. Additionally Karel is also a board member of the TechNine IT Pro user group. When offline and not working, he enjoys having family time and running into the wild.
